Bring a TOT to Your Community:
I have been presenting Training of Trainers for community members and professional trainers since 2002. I am committed to building the skills and confidence of those wanting to present Trans Awareness Trainings and these workshops are a wonderful way for me to pass on the skills and experience that I have developed over the past 19 years from training more than 26,000 people on Trans Issues in Health Care. The interactive model uses a wide variety of tehniques to help participants become more confident in developing their own indivdual style while incorporating training fundamentals. Participants at all levels find they are able to expand and grow from the workshop.

Please contact me if you are interested in bringing this training to your community. I deliver versions ranging in length from 1.5 hours to 3.5 days! Organizations that have hosted a TOT include: the Sylvia Rivera Law Project in New York City; the Minnesota Trans Health Coalition; The Pacific AIDS Education and Training Center in California; The Worcester AIDS Project in Massachusetts; the Virginia Department of Health; The Bronx Community Pride Center; and The New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute and New York City Council's Community of Color Initiative.
